Flavia Cuddemi is a Sicilian-born painter and illustrator based in Rome. Before devoting herself fully to art, she studied biomedical engineering in Pisa, a background that quietly informs the precision and curiosity she brings to her practice.

Cuddemi works in watercolor, drawn to its resistance to full control, a quality she sees as a mirror of life itself.
