# Flowerbed Fantasia

Bold floral forms in deep plum, crimson, and dusty rose scatter across a pale collaged ground with an energy that feels genuinely spontaneous. Corcelle's mixed media process is fully on display here - torn papers, painted passages, and drawn marks layered into a surface that rewards close looking. The flowers are recognizable but never botanical - they're more like the memory of a garden than the thing itself.

Guided by curiosity and openness to process, she transforms color, shape, and found materials into works that are both dynamic and contemplative.

Drawing inspiration from global experiences and cultural textures, Corcelle has exhibited widely across the United States and internationally, including shows in France, Vietnam, China, Cuba, Peru, and Azerbaijan. Her work is represented in public and private collections worldwide, among them the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the Boston Public Library, the Art Complex Museum, the Contemporary Art Center, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Hanoi, the Danang Fine Arts Museum, the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Universidade Feevale in Brazil, Las Casas de las Américas in Cuba, and the Permanent Collection of Château d’Orquevaux in Orquevaux, France.
