Where the streams meet the wood they swirl into marbled pools of aqua, chartreuse and scarlet, and the white ground on either side stays bright and open, giving the color room to travel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eColangelo poured each stream in a single direction and let the paint find its own edges, so the lines swell, narrow and fray, and the cobalt breaks into fine bubbled lace along one side. Setting the pours between raw wood and clean canvas adds warmth and a sense of structure to all that movement.
