Born and raised in Israel and now based in Silicon Valley, California, Rinat Goren creates abstract and figurative paintings that reflect her deep admiration for individuals who think critically and act with intention. Her work is inspired by the uniquely human capacity to form clear thoughts, make decisions, and take deliberate action - qualities she translates into layered, resonant compositions.

Goren frequently works with encaustic, an ancient medium of beeswax and pigment fused with heat into luminous, textured surfaces. This process allows her to build depth and complexity while preserving a sense of immediacy and spontaneity. By balancing tradition with innovation, she brings a contemporary voice to one of the world’s oldest painting techniques.

After relocating from Israel to California, raising a family, and completing her studies, Goren fully committed herself to her artistic practice. She has since exhibited widely in solo and group shows across California, and her works are held in private collections throughout the United States, particularly in California. Through her paintings, Goren invites viewers to reflect on thought, action, and the inner life of the mind, offering art as a space for both contemplation and connection.
