Working primarily in acrylic and collage, Cox approaches the canvas without a fixed plan. He builds depth and texture through an intuitive process guided by memory and music.

“ For me, painting is a rejuvenating way to unlock memories that have shaped my life. Each work begins in spontaneity - layers of paint, pencil, and music sparking recollections until one memory comes into focus. I'm most fulfilled when my paintings invite viewers to recall and share their own memories. ”
