Art Scout is a boutique contemporary art agency and online gallery based in Monterey, California. We curate and present artwork by represented and affiliated artists, facilitate artwork sales, and provide related art advisory, gallery, and digital services.

We strive to present artwork, dimensions, colors, pricing, and descriptions as accurately as possible. However:

- Handmade works may contain natural variations
- Measurements may include minor differences
- Availability is subject to change without notice
Art Scout reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.
4. Purchases and Payments
All purchases are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to:
- Decline or cancel orders
- Limit quantities
- Request additional verification before processing payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
Buyers are responsible for applicable taxes, customs duties, import fees, or other governmental charges related to purchases and international shipments. Â
Payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on:
- Artwork preparation
- Framing
- Artist availability
- Carrier delays
- International customs processing
Risk of loss and title transfer to the buyer upon confirmed delivery unless otherwise required by law.
Collectors are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
6. Returns and Cancellations
Due to the unique and often custom nature of artworks, all sales are generally considered final.
Return requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:
- Damage during transit
- Incorrect shipment
- Significant undisclosed condition issues
Any shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and accompanied by photographs of the packaging and artwork.
Custom commissions, framed works, and made-to-order pieces are typically non-refundable.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services, including:
- Artwork images
- Artist materials
- Text
- Logos
- Graphics
- Website design
- Photography
- Videos
is owned by Art Scout, the represented artists, or respective licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.
Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed in writing.
8. Limited License
Art Scout grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Use the Services unlawfully
- Interfere with website functionality or security
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Scrape, copy, or automate access to content
- Use content for AI training datasets, resale, or commercial replication without permission

Art Scout may represent artists directly, collaborate with affiliated artists, or facilitate sales on behalf of third parties.
Availability, pricing, commissions, and representation relationships may change over time.
